It's hard to believe these works - exhibited in the Irish Museum of Modern Art - were imagined and produced by children and young people living in detention. Or, is it?
Each young artist has their own unique perspective and was mentored and encouraged to shine.
At the time, they were living at the Oberstown Children Detention Campus in Dublin.
Their creations, and the 'Ride Away From The Storm' exhibition at IMMA show what young people are capable of when the right supports are there to help them express themselves in powerful ways.
