Public Submissions to the Implementation Monitor

The Implementation Monitor Robert Benjamin thanks all parties who have taken the time to make a public submission.

The role of our Office is to monitor, evaluate and report on the Tasmanian Government’s implementation of in-scope child safety inquiry recommendations. These submissions assist the work of our Office, to gather relevant information and insights from the Tasmanian community. Your views are valued.

Published submissions

The latest round of submissions concluded on 30 September 2025. To help inform monitoring and public reporting, the Implementation Monitor wanted to hear from community members - including victim-survivors - about how they thought child safety reforms in Tasmania have been going.

The Monitor received the following submissions from organisations and individuals:

The Office of the Implementation Monitor (OIM) has and will carefully review these submissions, so that the information provided in them can help inform our monitoring and evaluation functions, particularly in relation to appraisal of child safety recommendations as outlined in our Implementation Framework, and future reporting.

We may request to meet with those who have made a submission, and/or discuss feedback provided in the submissions directly with relevant agencies through the oversight process.

Submissions received

In total, 8 submissions were received, consisting of:

  • 2 submissions from individuals
  • 6 submissions from organisations, mostly from the community sector

We have advised the authors that the submissions will be published here.

Submissions closed

There are no current opportunities to make a public submission.

We anticipate there will be further opportunities to make a submission in 2026. Keep an eye on our website or social media channels for updates.
